All First Aid training is provided by Darren Shreck who provides nationally recognised training in partnership with, and under the auspices of, Allen’s Training Pty Ltd (RTO No. 90909). All Statements of Attainment are issued by Allen’s Training.
Cobram Community House is the venue for part of this training but does not provide the training.

The CGEA program provides skill development in reading, writing and numeracy and assists student study preparation in a variety of areas to meet personal needs, facilitate participation in the community, or other workplace and further educational training.
These courses are for a range of learners who wish to improve their literacy, basic math and general education skills, including those who left mainstream education early, and whose life experiences have inhibited access to education, training and employment.
The main focus of the Certificates in General Education for Adults is to build: life skills, literacy skills, numeracy skills, digital skills.

The focus of this course is to support learners with an intellectual disability to develop the skills to find the most appropriate option for them in the community. This may include employment, volunteer work or further study.
The course will develop valuable learning and social skills by exploring:

use of everyday technology.

CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
This qualification is for individuals who want to progress their career and gain specialised skills and knowledge to work as an early childhood educator or centre director.
The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is delivered over an 18 month period. It requires a combination of classroom attendance and work placement. Additional home-based study will be required.

This course is designed to develop the literacy, numeracy skills and communication skills of learners with an intellectual disability.
Participants will learn to write simple sentences, communicate through conversation and develop basic numeracy skills using money, time, and
measurement through hands-on activities. Your self-esteem and confidence will grow as your interpersonal skills improve. This course is a great option for adult learners to develop the skills required for independence and further study.
