    CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

    This course was released on 5/9/2025 and supersedes CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.  The new course includes major changes to update entry requirements, allowing people with older qualifications access to study the diploma.

    This qualification is for individuals who want to advance their career in early childhood education. This qualification is designed for educators wanting to pursue leadership roles and take their skills to the next level. With a focus on creating high-quality, inclusive programmes, fostering children’s development, and managing early learning environments, the CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care equips learners with the skills and knowledge make a positive impact in the lives of the children they care for.

    The CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is delivered over an 18-month period. It requires a combination of classroom attendance and work placement. Additional home-based study will be required.
